CANCELLED Excursion to Rising Tide (Maritime Museum)

On the 19th of March, we organise an excursion to the Maritime Museum to see the exhibitions Scramble for the Arctic and Rising Tide. Scramble for the Arctic illustrates the process of Dutch expansion into the Arctic region. Rising Tide by photojournalist and filmmaker Kadir van Lohuizen serves as a wake-up call and illustrates the global impact and irreversible consequences of rising sea levels.

We will meet at 09.30 at the museum, where we will receive an introduction. After seeing the exhibition, you are welcome to visit the rest of the museum. Expenses of students without a Museumkaart will be covered by us.

The lectures in the afternoon have unfortunately been cancelled.
